For researchers who
are interested in giving an oral or poster presentation, a title and abstract
of your presentation must be submitted.
The abstract should
give a brief summary of your work, which should not be longer than 2 pages. A
figure is strongly encouraged. Please use the template below to prepare your abstract.
Please submit your
abstract to info@photonicsireland2023.org
before the submission deadline midnight April 19, 2023 to
be considered for an oral presentation. Late poster submission deadline has been extended to midnight May 31, 2023.
In the subject of your
submission email, please indicate the type of your presentation (oral or
poster) and the technical committee you would like to submit your abstract to.
An example of the submission subject is ‘Oral (or Poster) presentation
abstract for name of the technical committee’.
Due to the space
limitation, not all abstracts submitted for oral/poster presentations will be
accepted. The technical committee members will review and rank all submissions.
The submission author will be contacted with the final decision within 4 weeks
after the submission deadline. In the case of abstract not accepted for oral
presentation, the author may be offered with a poster option.
Please note that the accepted oral/poster presentations are automatically admitted for the competitions of Best Oral Presentation Award (300 euros) and Best Poster Award (200 euros). Please let us know if you do not wish to enter for these competitions.
